Table

The Table is the most powerful task view. It supports hierarchy (parent/child tasks), inline editing, filters, and bulk actions.

Open it from the sidebar: Table.

Columns

Common columns include:

  • Task — name with tree expand/collapse
  • Status — workflow stage
  • Priority — urgency level
  • Progress — percent complete
  • Assignee — who owns the work
  • Duration — length in days
  • Start / Due — schedule dates (overdue rows are highlighted)

Use Columns to toggle which ones appear. Drag column headers to reorder them (saved per project).

Tree and hierarchy

  • Click the caret to expand or collapse branches
  • Add subtask from the task dialog to nest work under a parent
  • Indent / Outdent in the dialog to change level
  • Parent rows can roll up progress and duration from children

Editing

  • Click a cell — edit inline; Enter saves, Escape cancels
  • ⋮ menu — open the full Edit task dialog (includes Notes)
  • Drag a row — reorder or change parent (disabled while sorting or filtering)

Selection and bulk delete

  1. Check rows (or use Select all)
  2. A bar shows how many are selected
  3. Click Delete to remove them, or Cancel to clear selection

Sorting and filters

  • Click a column header sort icon: ascending → descending → off
  • Active filters keep parent rows visible (dimmed) so you don’t lose context
  • Row drag-and-drop is paused while sort or filters are active

Task dialog

From ⋮ → Edit task:

  • All fields plus Notes
  • Add subtask, Duplicate, Indent, Outdent, Delete
